Hello! I'm Tyler.

Communicator, idealist, horrible cook. You can describe me in countless ways, but this is how I do it.

Hello! I'm Tyler, an outspoken 20-something year old from the Netherlands with more ambition than what's probably good for them. My pronouns are he/she/they. That means you can use all three of those words to refer to me, so choose whichever one you like 🙂

In a few words I'd describe myself as quirky, opinionated and idealistic (now we can also skip that question at an interview). In my work, I always try to think out-of-the-box, so I can create something that's not only strong, but also unique. I like to think not in the limitations of what's immediately possible, but in the value of where we need to go. After all, you only know whether something is impossible after you've tried it.

My goal in everything I do is to make the world a little bit better. Sometimes this means contributing to large projects and organisations that tackle large problems, and sometimes that simply means offering support so someone that needs it. With this mindset I also actively commit myself to topics like the climate crisis, combating discrimination, human rights and more.

I like to engage myself in variuos forms of media. I write opinion articles and other types of text, and I am very interested in video production. I like to use these interests to share new views and ideas with other people. Hearing someone else's ideas and discussing those is the way to come to new, even better insights. That's why I always try to learn from the strengths and ideas from others.

In my free time, I like to engage myself with personal creative projects and voluntary work, among other places with the scouts movement. Apart from that I enjoy video games, singing, animals, reading, searching for hidden treasure in thrift stores and more. I enjoy a ton of different things, and because of that I'm often working on at least two things at once. That may sound a little awkward or problematic, but because of that I do often get new ideas which I can use in other projects. That way, everything remains fresh.

Of course these are all nice words, but I think you can only truly get to know someone when you actually talk to them. Are you reading this and thinking 'Yeah, I'd like to talk with them sometime'? Go ahead! I love meeting new people, so feel free to contact me. Be it for professional reasons, or just to babble about nonsense, my inbox is open 🙂

Discover more about me

I see you!

When you enjoy participating in all kinds of things, you also pop up in all kinds of places. I've been spotted at gatherings and political activities various times, I've contributed to various campaigns, and I popped up in the media a few times. I usually discover that last one when suddenly seven people message me at once saying "Hey, I just saw you on TV!".

This is a collection of some noteable campaigns, appearances and contributions.
